I work for a large faucet manufacturer inside of Lowe's Corp. HQ - Wilkesboro & live in Northern Statesville. There are many expensive homes/properties in the northern lake norman area. I believe the town of Troutman has strong business potential. Dining locations are very poor - forcing locals to drive to Mooresville, Huntersville, or Statesville. People (like me) who live in Northern Statesville must drive 30+ miles to go to a decent restaurant or pet supply store. Mooresville has a proliferation of dining opportunities, but not everyone wants to drive that far. Statesville has some "fast food" dining but nothing exciting. I believe a Caribou Coffee, Steak N-Shake, Quaker Steak or something more "unique" could be a great success at Exit 42 off of I-77. I have an MBA, work experience in multiple industries, a keen business sense, and the desire to manage my own business. Am just beginning to research opportunities.
